Westlake Village
This was the second dwelling ( home) that i had the pleasure of creating space for this beautiful family to live & dream in.
The feeling of leaving the east coast behind was all to familiar as I had just relocated to the majestic west coast a few years prior.
{ Side Note: It’s amazing how the east coast living doesn’t always translate here in California. The heavy mahogany just doesn’t seem to belong, the oversized sectionals with multiple pieces upholstered in microfiber, and expansive dining table that host twenty people; These pieces sometimes just feel out of place here. }
In cali it’s all about lightening the load. The goal is to achieve a light and airy space that is fun and functional and is inspiring. This home wasn’t about fancy pillows and luxurious chandeliers. This project was all about launching a new chapter and family!
